From “where shall we eat?” to a clear next step

A restaurant website people can use before they arrive.

Let guests read the menu, check tonight's hours and find the right reservation or ordering link without getting lost. Pageory designs restaurant websites for DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia around those everyday decisions.

Temporary founding-client pricing. Full scope agreed in writing. No obligation to build.

What belongs near the top

Someone visiting your website may be standing outside, planning a group dinner or checking whether the menu works for them. A useful first screen answers what kind of restaurant you are and gives quick access to the menu, hours, location and booking action.

I avoid making a guest sit through a long animation before finding practical details. Photographs and type can set the mood while the important links stay visible. Seasonal hours, kitchen closing times and private-event enquiries deserve clear wording rather than assumptions.

Connect the tools you already use

I can plan clear links to your reservation or ordering platform. Linking to an existing service is different from building a custom booking, payment or delivery system; I agree which you need before pricing the work.

Directions can use an ordinary map link, which avoids loading a heavy third-party map before anyone needs it. Your address, entrance guidance, parking or transit notes should be based on your actual location. Multiple locations need accurate, separate details rather than a shared block that leaves guests guessing.

A design concept, not a claimed client result

My Rossura restaurant example uses a dark editorial palette, generous serif typography and a prominent reservation action. It shows one possible approach to hospitality design—not a restaurant I claim to have served, a measured sales result or a live booking system.

Your design should come from your food, atmosphere, photography and guests. A neighborhood lunch spot may need a lighter, faster route to a lunch menu than an evening dining room. I use the example to discuss direction, not force every restaurant into it.

Price the actual restaurant website

A focused single-page restaurant site may fit the founding-client build from $200. Separate menu, private-dining and location pages may fit a larger business package from $450. Booking-feature projects start from $700 with scope agreed; platform subscriptions and processing fees are not included automatically.

I identify who supplies menu text, images and current opening hours before the build. Optional Website Care is $40/month and covers small existing-content changes alongside hosting, backups, monitoring and updates. A new ordering system or additional location page is separately quoted. See the complete pricing guide.

Questions about restaurant web design

Can I keep my current reservation provider?

Yes, I can plan a clear link or assess an integration with the provider you use. Embedded tools may have performance, privacy or subscription implications that I review in the scope.

Can you update menus and holiday hours?

Small edits to existing menu content or hours can be included in Website Care. A new menu structure, large content overhaul or new functionality needs a separate scope.

Do you provide food photography?

Photography is not assumed to be included in the website price. I can work with images you have permission to use and agree any additional content sourcing before starting.

No obligation. A concrete starting point.
